Dr. Parker has more than 16 years of professional experience in human services, domestic violence services and higher education administration. Since 2020, she has been the President and CEO of Women in Distress, and prior to that, she was the Executive Director of Victim Services at the Peace River Center in Polk county. Prior to relocating to Florida from Iowa in 2016, Dr. Parker held Director and Vice President positions at William Penn University in West Des Moines.
