 The purpose of the Women Empowering Women Program is to provide women with the financial and professional support they need to further their education, re-enter and/or advance in the workplace. Along with financial support, WEW recipients are welcome to participate in all WEC activities and take advantage of members’ expertise and knowledge. Members give of their time and talents, at no charge, throughout the recipient’s tenure.

Educational Information

Military Service History (If Applicable)

Describe the program you are enrolled in or intend to enroll in. Give the name of the institution, your admission status, the length of the program/cost, and how you plan to use the scholarship funds.
List the names, amounts of any scholarships, grants, or other scholarly awards you have received.

Employment Information

List your three most recent employers, years employed, and positions/responsibilities.
List your three most recent school and/or community activities (clubs, volunteer work, etc...) and the years they occurred.
Tell us how you intend to fund your selected academic program outside of the WEW scholarship, i.e., Pell grants, college loans, family contributions, savings, etc.
On a separate page, attach a 300- to 500-word essay with your goals –– both immediate (in college) and long-term (graduate school, future employment, career) and anything else you might want to tell us about yourself.
