President’s Message from MaryKate Wood, Wake WorX, Owner:

Dear All,

Welcome to WEC’s 46th Anniversary! I am eager and honored to be the incoming 2022-23 WEC President. We all have so much to look forward to this upcoming year:
– a new luncheon venue at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club,
– several former members rejoining, and
– numerous new members to meet and greet!
There will be several new guest speakers, more evening Pop-up Socials, interesting Cannon Circles and multiple GEM’s each month, too.

My theme for the upcoming year is “Reimagine, Create and Achieve”. It is time to reimagine what WEC Membership means to us, individually and collectively. It is time to create new memories and reignite excitement. And it is time to achieve realistic goals of growing membership, heightened charitable giving, active professional networking, and of course hours of fun, delicious food, and female camaraderie.

I am truly motivated to make this our best year yet and I know that together we can, and we will.
