Kelley Jackson, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC is a doctoral-prepared Nurse Researcher and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She currently serves as a Research Study Recruiter for Florida Atlantic University. She has held positions in Cardiology, Pulmonology, Cosmetic Surgery and Corporate Wellness. She has held several leadership roles including: Clinical Science Consultant, Clinical Director, and Scientific Studies Manager. In addition, she led a national team of field-based nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic whose mission was to ensure clinical quality standards were upheld at over 100 testing and vaccine administration sites. She serves as the Secretary for the South Florida Michigan State Alumni Board, is a General Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of Broward County, a long-standing member of the South Florida American Heart Association’s Circle of Red, is an active member of the South Florida Advance Practice Nurse Network, and is an active Elder at her Church. She enjoys

training for marathons and has served as the Fort Lauderdale Chapter Lead for Medals4Mettle for over 10 years delivering donated, earned marathon medals to patients (and their families) at Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital who express their own “mettle” as they face difficult diagnoses, treatments, and surgeries.
